The new Jetta has been enhanced in every area. At 4.64 metres in length, it is 90mm longer than its predecessor, and its boot packs a generous 510 litres of luggage. The rear seating layout is significantly more spacious and there's 6.7cm more legroom thanks to the car’s longer wheelbase. New trims and upholsteries also compliment the cabin.
The new model is available with two diesel engines and two petrol engines. The 1.6-litre 105 PS TDI BlueMotion Technology model, fitted with a fivespeed manual gearbox, boasts an average combined fuel consumption of 67.3 mpg and emits just 109 g/km of C02, making it one of the most efficient vehicles in its class.
