Youth Options was established in 1937. Youth Options and Peter Cooper Motor Group both believe passionately that every child and young person has the potential to realise their abilities and aspirations, and to make a valuable contribution to their communities. We are committed to supporting young people to develop their social and emotional skills, engage with learning and to stay safe. Our services are individually tailored to deliver vibrant, dynamic and ever-evolving opportunities that connect with and inspire young people.
Youth Options employs a dedicated and passionate team, and group of committed volunteers. About 20 percent of their services are open access for all young people, whilst 80 percent are targeted projects delivered to young people with specific needs. Youth Options work with young people in a wide range of situations, including those in care, care leavers, those at risk of exclusion from school or society, those already excluded from mainstream education and young people who are NEET or likely to be NEET on leaving school. In the last year, Youth Options have supported 4,616 children and young people, delivered 4,579 sessions, and provided 11,709 hours of support.
Peter Cooper Motor Groups Mission
One of our many missions at Peter Cooper Motor Group is to help and support our community and give back where possible. Our businesses have always supported local businesses and communities, and we have always taken pride in how much we support and how much money we raise for charity. In 2021 we launched our foundation – the Peter Cooper Foundation to showcase the good work we get involved with, over a 40-year period.
