Thursday 9th May 2024.

After four years of serving the Bransgore and wider community, we regret to inform you that the Peter Cooper Motor Group has made the decision to close our Prestige Cars and the All Makes Bosch Service Centre in Bransgore. The site will close on Thursday 9th May 2024.

This decision has not been made lightly and we want to provide you with an insight into the factors that have led us to this difficult choice.

Over the past few years, the automotive industry has faced unprecedented challenges due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. With significantly fewer new cars registered, there has been a significant shortage of used cars in the marketplace. This scarcity has made it increasingly difficult for us to stock our forecourts with the premium vehicles that you have come to expect from us.

Despite our best efforts, our displayed cars have often represented only half of our ideal stocking levels, impacting both our service departments and our ability to serve our valued customers.

Furthermore, this rural location has presented its challenges with regards to recruiting the numbers of high calibre staff needed. When we have been looking to increase our headcount, the volume of applicants continues to fall short of our requirements.

As a result of these factors, the financial returns from our Bransgore site have been severely impacted, and sustaining heavy losses is no longer a viable option for our business.
