Peter Cooper Motor Group staff gain CPR skills with the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance

Staff at Peter Cooper Motor Group completed a free training session delivered by the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance (HIOWAA) through its Skills for Life program.

The session covered how to perform CPR and use essential life-saving equipment in case of a medical emergency.

Darren Cooper, managing director of the Peter Cooper Motor Group, said, "We’re incredibly proud to support the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance and their outstanding work in teaching life-saving skills.

"The training our team received was not only engaging and informative but could genuinely make the difference between life and death."

Despite providing the training at no cost to businesses, Mr Cooper unexpectedly donated £3,000 to HIOWAA.

The funds are expected to help the charity purchase two additional Brayden CPR training kits, expanding its reach across the region.

David Parker, a volunteer trainer with HIOWAA, said, "It’s fantastic to see local businesses like Peter Cooper Motor Group investing their time to learn CPR and support our training programmes.

"This donation is amazing and very generous."
