Two Hampshire cricketers, Tom Prest and Fletcher Middleton, have taken delivery of brand-new cars courtesy of The Peter Cooper Motor Group. The first-team players collected the keys to their Omoda and Jaecoo vehicles from Managing Director Darren Cooper, marking another milestone in the company’s long-standing relationship with Hampshire Cricket.
Darren Cooper expressed his excitement about the sponsorship, commenting, “We are delighted to provide these two fantastic cars from our new association with Jaecoo and Omoda, which has been incredibly popular since its launch at the start of the year. Our partnership with Hampshire Cricket is something we take great pride in, and we’re thrilled to continue supporting the team both on and off the pitch.”
This year, The Peter Cooper Motor Group celebrates an impressive 27-year association with Hampshire Cricket. The south coast’s top-rated Volkswagen retailer first partnered with the club when it was based at Northlands Road, Southampton, and has continued this successful relationship since the club’s move to West End’s state-of-the-art facilities over 12 years ago.
As the official car supplier of Hampshire Cricket, Peter Cooper provides multiple vehicles for the Hampshire Cricket Men’s First Team, in addition to prominent stadium advertising on matchdays.
Darren Cooper highlighted the synergy between the brands, adding: “Hampshire Cricket mirrors our brand positioning for being fantastic family value. We have had a long-standing relationship with the club, and that loyalty is important in business. We look forward to working with the club for many more years.”
