
Peter Cooper Kia, part of the Peter Cooper Motor Group, has been named a Top 10 Kia Dealer and ranked Top 10 nationally for Aftersales at the Kia Annual Conference, marking a major milestone for the business following significant recent investment in customer experience and facilities.
In addition, Peter Cooper Kia Southampton was Highly Commended in the ‘After Sales Excellence’ category at the 2025 Kia Dealer Excellence Awards, announced during Kia’s National Dealer Conference last week.
The recognition highlights the dealership’s outstanding aftersales support and customer care, placing it among the top performers across Kia’s nationwide network of 190 UK dealerships.
More than 1,000 Kia dealer staff and employees attended the conference, which opened under the theme ‘Shaping Our Future’. The event reviewed Kia’s performance over the past 12 months - another record year in the UK and celebrated the dealerships that have led the way in sales, customer experience and aftersales excellence.
The annual Kia Dealer Excellence Awards recognise exceptional performance across Kia’s UK dealer network, with awards spanning Sales Excellence, After Sales Excellence, Customer Experience, and EV Excellence, reflecting the growing momentum of electric vehicle adoption. Each category names a single winner, supported by up to nine Highly Commended dealerships.
The accolades come following a period of transformation for Peter Cooper Kia, including its move last year to a new, state-of-the-art facility in Hedge End and the successful transition following the Peter Cooper Motor Group’s acquisition of the business from Viking Kia in 2024.

The Peter Cooper Kia Hedge End facility features a modern seven-car showroom for new vehicles, space to display up to 50 Kia Approved Used cars, and significantly enhanced service and MOT facilities. Kia ended 2025 as the UK’s fourth most popular car brand, achieving a 5.6% market share and registering 113,436 vehicles. Kia dealerships continue to be ranked among the best in the UK by consumers, while the brand has been rated the number one volume franchise in the National Franchised Dealers Association (NFDA) Dealer Attitude Survey for six consecutive years.
