Job Title: Used Car Sales Controller/Manager

Location: Shirley, Southampton

Salary: £45,000-£55,000 On Target Earnings

We are now seeking talented Used Car Sales Controller/Manager to join our successful Sales team in Shirley. The main objective of the role is to manage the stock of used cars, to ensure the maximum number of vehicles sold possible.

Key Objectives of the role:

To ensure all used stock is advertised consistently across all online platforms with a minimum 20 high quality images and a video within 3 days of arrival.

To ensure all used stock is price-adjusted to the market every 7-10 days.

To ensure all part-exchanges are assessed to a high standard using digital iPad appraisals.

To manage used stock ageing to control and minimise aged write-down costs.

To ensure all used cars are fully prepared cosmetically and mechanically within 5 working days (10 days where additional work is required) and preparation costs are under control in line with budget, keeping costs to a minimum whilst adhering to company and brand standards.

Achieve and strive to exceed all targets and sales objectives through a well-developed and motivated sales team.

Formulate policies and procedures to achieve maximum profitability from used vehicles, finance, insurance and accessory sales.

Maximise sales and profitability through satisfaction and retention of customers.

Help retailer to achieve industry-leading standards of process efficiency and cost control.

Ensure departmental compliance with company policies and industry guidelines.

Ensure team fully engage with the latest digital tools to achieve a fully blended experience.

Essential Skills/Experience

Experience of working in a similar sales role

Excellent customer satisfaction skills

Confident communication skills

Team player

Compliance (experience of working within a regulatory/process orientated environment)

Organisation skills and being able to manage stock.
